It’s been a long ride, but for everyone that stuck with me we have climbed the mountain and built our first WordPress theme. Well done! Give yourself a pat on the back for all your hard work!

I hope this is not the end for you, but the beginning of a new and hopefully enjoyable pursuit. If you want to find more information from the WordPress Codex you should check out Blog Design and Layout. If you decide to share your theme with the WordPress community you should also check out Designing Themes for Public Release which is linked from the Blog Design and Layout page.
